Executive Chef Patrik Landberg leads the kitchen, its staff and the innovative menu. In the culinary world, he is developing a reputation as a serious, passionate, world-class chef. Patrik's impressive credentials include working in some of the world's finest restaurants. Hailing from Sweden, his expertise in Continental European Cuisine is classic and refined. He exemplifies Sweden's brilliance in culinary simplicity. Regardless of whether meat, seafood or vegetables are featured, the primary ingredient's flavor is simply, yet powerfully, highlighted and enhanced. Patrik and his culinary team avoid over-saucing and excessively garnishing food. The simplicity of his cooking is deceptively artful. He brings technical precision and an absolute mastery of the ingredients. His unwavering commitment to excellence makes Charcoal Restaurant an extraordinary dining experience.
Front of House Manager
Front of the House Manager Christopher Keller hails from Denver, Colorado. With over 15 years hospitality experience, Chris is an expert in all aspects of front of the house operations. He has extensive experience working in some of Colorado's most reputable restaurants. Chris is a graduate of University of Colorado at Denver with a degree in philosophy.
Sous Chef Josh Leiby contributes to our stellar reputation with foodies. Josh started his culinary career in Wisconsin at the age of 14 at a well-known local hotel. His love of hiking, biking and fishing motivated him to move to Colorado. He is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University with an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Culinary Nutrition. Josh's career includes prestigious Denver restaurants as well as operating one of Denver's most recognizable food trucks. His impressive credentials in traditional American cuisine help to expand our menu.
Sous Chef Greg Lucero adds spice to our kitchen. Growing up near Albuquerque, New Mexico, his culinary passion grew from helping his mother prepare meals. In high school, he competed in several statewide culinary events. His achievements earned him a college scholarship from Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. From age 22, he trained under some of Denver's greatest chefs and has worked at prestigious restaurants and hotels. He brings a unique southwestern flair and his creativity is shaping the restaurant's future culinary accomplishments and expansion plans.
